The Waiting Room

I believe many of us are still in the  ‘waiting room’ for God’s promises to come to past. It can be a promotion, a spouse, a house or a financial breakthrough. Personally I have been waiting on God for open doors for many areas of my life for a while. It’s not easy especially when people around us are enjoying the breakthrough we have been praying for. Sometimes it feels as if we are forgotten. Will God’s promises ever be fulfilled in my life? Will He open that door in His appointed time?

I want to encourage you today with a few verses in the bible.

~2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

~1 Thess 5:24 He who calls you isfaithful, who also will do it.

~Romans 10:11 Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.

~Psalm 37: 19 They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough

Our God is a God of promise. There are certain things in our life that God will do for us only if we rest in Him. We are sons and daughters of the most high God. We are not orphans, left alone and forgotten. He is our Father and He seeks the best for you and me.

While in the ‘waiting room’, let us learn to seek His face and be content with what He has given us in this season. Let us be faithful with little. Lets us praise Him for He is so good and His plan for us is the best plan. Rejoice and celebrate the victories of others. Forgive and bless those who hurt and curse you. Let us shake away the comparison, jealous and strive that stumble our walk with God.

He is working even when we cannot see.

When we truly live for Him, we will not compare our lives with others.

He is our Provider. He is the one who clothe the lilies in the fields and feeds the birds and they neither toil nor spin. Why would he not freely give us all things when He already gave us Jesus, Heaven’s treasure.  Let us renew our trust and faith in Him today.

I pray that you will not give up. I pray that you will allow God to do the work He wanted to do in you. I pray He will give you supernatural strength to go through whatever you are going through now. You are more than a conqueror and He will do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think.
